Kid's Ministry
Here at Ormsby Heights we love kids! Our church is committed
to the whole family and helping you and your children become all
that God intends. Our heart's desire is to come alongside of you in
the process of discipling and growing up with your children. We want
to offer a fun and exciting environment that is founded on Biblical
truth. Please remember that we are here to encourage you in any way
we can.
Remember the promise of Proverbs 22:6: "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it."

Students (6th-12th grade)
Whether you are simply checking out Christianity, or you
have decided to move deeper into your personal
relationship with Christ, we believe you will find an
area of the Student Ministry that will best meet your
needs.
IMPACT If you are looking for an exciting way to spend Wednesday evenings with a program designed with students in mind, you will want to be a part of IMPACT!! Each Wednesday we get together at 6:00 to experience a high tech, multi-media celebration and worship designed for youth. IMPACT includes videos, live music, dramas, and a real life message geared just for students. LifeGroups Discipling, deepening, and developing - youth life groups meet upstairs Sundays at 9:30 AM and Tuesday evenings in a home. Creative Ministry Teams Creative Ministry Teams meet weekly with opportunities for hands-on experiences to prepare for ministry. Teams include: family production, puppets, praise team, guitar lessons, & drum lessons. Other Activities: In addition to our regular weekly schedule listed above, we have much going on throughout the year such as... Fall Theme Retreats, Ice Skating, Paintball, Swim Parties, Pizza Parties, Summer Home Bible Studies, King's Island Trip, Conferences (Winter & Summer), Basketball & Softball Leagues, Lock-Ins, Summer Camp, Mystery Nights, Mission Trips, Skiing/Tubing and MUCH, MUCH MORE!!! At Ormsby we are excited about our adult
ministries. Along with our Sunday morning Bible study
groups for adults, (LifeGroups at 9:30 and Sunday School
at 10:45) we have some specialized ministries as well.
Our Women's Ministry is growing! Sundays we offer "Deeper Life Studies." Periodically throughout the year our women will attend ladies conferences and retreats aimed at enriching the Christian lives of our women. For more information check out the Women's Ministry Table just outside the main restrooms. The Men's Ministry is a ministry designed for the men in our church and community. Throughout the year, men over the age of 18 enjoy opportunities for Bible Study, accountability groups, Promise Keeper stadium events, retreats, help projects, and adventurous outings specifically designed for men. We are constantly attempting to reach men where they are, and help strengthen them as Christian men, husbands, fathers, and workers. So, if you are a man over 18 years old and you are interested in building a LEGACY, then call the church office at 447-6867 for updated information on seasonal activities. Forerunners (55+)
Our Forerunners Ministry is geared to our adults 55
and over. Our Forerunners enjoy outings, retreats,
fun, fellowship and food! We take several big trips
a year. We also offer Leisure Club which is for
anyone with "Leisure" time on their hands. The
Leisure Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the
month for good food and fellowship. We would like to
extend an invitation to you to come join us for
fellowship and lots of fun!
S.M.A.R.T. We have a "small maintenance and repair team" who help out our seniors who are in need of assistance. CARE Team The care team provides hospital follow-up, caregiver relief, homebound visits, telephone reassurance, transportation to the doctor office, follow up after the loss of a loved one. Annual July 4th Freedom Celebrations! We
offer to the community FREE food, fireworks and
fun!!! 2009 will be our 8th Annual "Freedom
Celebration"!! Year after year the fun gets funner
and the food gets yummier! The fireworks at sundown
are a real treat! Thank you to all of our volunteers
and to the community for celebrating freedom with us
